Only 1 batt? Meh. Not a good deal on a cordless anything w/ only 1 batt.

You're right #3, there is only one battery in this kit.

Might as well call it a 2.5 tool kit. Flashlight's okay, but not something I'm going to chew up battery time with using. The vacuum is a ridiculous tool to use a rechargeable battery on, especially if they only put one in the kit! Rolling Eyes

Good value. You don't necessarily have to see use of the flaslight or vac as taking away from runtime of the other tools, there might often be situations where you don't need to drill or saw but do need a light or vac.

Obviously lack of a 2nd battery is a serious limitation but you have to see it in the context of lowering the price of the set... you can buy another battery if you don't mind paying more.

The other significant limitation is the charger looks to be the dumb semi-trickle type which not only takes awhile to charge a battery, it can cook batteries if you forget to unplug it when they're charged... although this looks like a newer design of that charging technique, I keep hoping someday it'll have a Delta-V cutoff circuit in the charger but I doubt it does at this price-point for multiple tools.

The saw, the drill, and the batt plus the charger are already worth more than the cost. Consider the lamp and the vac bonus.

Nice deal. Free shipping, and I had a gift card. The price was about the same as if I picked up a battery/charger alone, which I needed. Thanks, Ben!

claimed free shipping but charged me for shipping. I'll be calling sears up to dispute, once it's shipped that is so that cant mess with the order.

looks like the refurb combo (minus vac) set that was sold about a yr ago for 50$. the saw and drill work well and i have never used the light. one battery sucks but i'm not doing any major work, so it's not a big deal for me.
