Sears.com has the Craftsman 22 pc. Drill Bit Set for $13 when added to cart. Shipping is about $6, or pick up in-store. 3 types of drill bits punch through masonry, wood and metal.

I ordered these, should I pick them up, or just let the order expire.

$13 is pretty cheap and looks like there is a good variety of popular bit types & sizes.

i bought a large companion drill bit set for $20 or $30 at sears two or three years back. the sears salesman agreed that i buy the companion set, because the craftsman drill bit sets have no warranty advantage over companion (unlike their hand tools) but cost significantly more, and instead only buy specific craftsman drill bits for the quality (like when one of the companion bits break).

seems like good advice: "buy quality when you need it, otherwise save yourself the money and buy cheap". but in this case this craftsman set is well priced.

UPDATE: the regular price is listed on the web page ($40), but the discounted price ($13) appears when you add it to your cart. i'm in for one (in-store pickup).

yeah, I picked up 2 when it was 10.49 picked up. Figured bits last forever till I break them, so it doesn't hurt to have a spare or stocking stuffer or whatever.

Craftsman is a pretty good brand...I almost bought this one but found a better deal at Costco...80s drill pieces for about 22 Stanley.

this is an excellent drill bet set. I used the masonry bits today to install some Gladiator GearTraks in my garage. Worked like a charm. The quick connect bits are the way to go if you want to the get job done quickly.
