This set would be a darned fine stater set if you don't have any tools. You wouldn't need to buy very many other tools at all (primarily some hammers and pliers,) and could do so on an as needed basis.

don't forget about lifetime warranty for craftsman tools, something breaks you just bring it to any sears hardware and walk out with a replacement no problem. (they will give you refurb. if they can, but it's nice to have that option)
