Sears has the Craftsman 5/8 in. x 50 ft. All Rubber Garden Hose for $20 with free in-store pickup or $12 shipping. Features concave hexagonal shape, crush-proof brass coupler, 500 psi burst strength and a lifetime warranty.
This is not the very best deal...but an excellent deal nonetheless. the only con to this hose is that some of the black color will discolor hands, etc. after the hose has been exposed to sunlight for a long time. Not a deal breaker, but still not the higher quality green 100% rubber hose Craftsman used to offer in yesteryear. Gotta love the unconditional warranty on this hose...no questions asked...they just hand you the new hose.
^ It was many years ago they offered any other all rubber hose. These are good for lay it out and leave it alone uses but for moving around they aren't so good.
There's the issue of black rubbing off, and the issue of higher friction dragging it around whether through grass or on pavement, at that it drags against itself and winds up twisted together if you try to reel it in on a hose reel, and that it weighs more so the hose reel has more stress on it.
It also goes on sale for about the same price, or lower if you have their Friends 'n Family coupon posted recently but those coupons expire 7/30 and it may not go back on sale by then, but still likely to go on sale again at around ~ $20 for the 50 ft. length.

Having both this one and the following linked hose (except in the longer length) and using a hose daily, I prefer this - http://www.sears.com/craftsman-heavy-duty-neverkink-self-straightening-hose/p-07163041000P
