I have the fiberglass handled version, it does its intended job fine though I wish the curved hook side of the blade assembly was also hardened steel, mine bent slightly when I tried to cut a big hard branch, though at least I was able to hammer it back close enough to straight that it still works and if all else fails you can exchange it under the lifetime warranty.
