It is my understanding that evolve tools require the original receipt to get broken ones replaced. Users complain that the size engraving on them is hard to read and wears off. I was tempted but pass. Sears is barely hanging on and they have been cheapening the Craftsman tools and coming out with lines with no or limited lifetime warranties even if they put Craftsman on them. Beware!
