    Yeah, I bought a low end Harbor Freight 18V drill on a lark once... it's maybe good as a screwdriver if your screws are fairly loose but otherwise feels and performs like a toy that merely looks like a drill. While amazing that they can sell them so cheap, I'd gladly take this or a Black & Decker over a HF special.

    Are you sure the purchase was on a lark an not on a whim Big Dave? If you did buy it on a lark, who was your larking target audience and how did the drill lark go over?
