Sears has the Craftsman 11818 NEXTEC 12V Hammerhead Cordless Auto Hammer for $60 - $10 off in cart = $50 with free in-store shipping. Shipping to home option is $8. Includes 12 volt Li-ion battery, nail remover and storage case. Gizmodo's review with video demo.
I bought some of the Nextec stuff just for kicks and giggles (and it was super cheap). I thought it was made really well and performed OK for what it was. Granted it isn't nearly as good as my Bosch and Milwaukee stuff as far as performance (and no one should expect it to be), but the fit and finish was much better than most out there now. I hate the way most tools look now, no attention to detail at all and it leaves you wondering about whats inside.
Go with the Makita LXT 18v system....best I've ever used, and relatively inexpensive too. For grins & giggles I did order that light 12v Makita combo that was on Bens a couple weeks ago ($149 from HD).
Edit 12-10-2011: Dammit....NOW I get an email saying they're OOS.
One that needs to drive a nail in a tight space or awkward position. Since I don't own one, in those situations I usually end up reaching for the right angle drill and use a screw instead.
On sale I bought the Nextec multi tool, drill, and impact angle driver with 2 batteries and 2 cases for $80. There are places where a hammer won't work and these are for those instances
The one in the video is NOT this model... it is the better model with the adjustable head. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00930261000P?prdNo=10&blockNo=10&blockType=G10 $90
what real man would use this?!?
