This is a good deal. cg1, how long does the battery last when using the saw? I love the quick chargers, but 50 min of charging is often longer than the battery lasts in my hands. May need a couple more batteries and an extra charger.
You can get the Ryobi 18 volt lith ion set at Lowe's for 220 and it comes with saws all, screw gun and drill. Batteries and charger are all interchangeable with older nickle batteries. That's why they call it the ONE set. One charger/ battery for all models.
# 3, You, sir, are a burp pathetic moron. Lowes does not sell Ryoboi. Home Depot sells Ryobi. The Sears set picture here is a little more heavy duty than the Ryobi set.
These tools are okay. If you're budget hunting, I'd probably look for a similar set of Ridgid tools from Home Depot. They offer a lifetime guarantee on batteries.
I've been using Ridgid tools for several years and we use them on Habitat for Humanity sites - if they can stand up to stupid amateurs abusing the crap out of them, they're durable enough for me.
Only expect to get light use outta this set.
