Works great on slow zombies. Fast zombies require quick slug thrower like an M16, AK47, etc.

First hit is usually a glancing blow but once you're not running around and can get a good swing in...
GREAT For chopping up bacon - Yumm
Mauls are great for splitting wood. A regular axe will often get stuck, where the wider angle of the maul will split.
Seems like a very good deal, I paid a fair bit more for the one I bought last year of an inferior brand.
