Yep. There was a time when it was great place to find bargains, trades and freebies. Then low-life entrepreneurs realized the potential.
There was time when I would leave items by my door and when I get home, the item has been picked up and the money is under the doormat. I haven't done that in years. Maybe it still happens in small towns.
The main problem I have with Craigslist is once the stupid people figured out how to get on the internet it wasn't long till they found craigslist too, so you see listed items people want to sell but they can't even describe what it is, what condition it's in, any info relative to what it is, or take a picture good enough to tell if it's an animal or a vegetable.
Then there's the crappy broad categores and sorting. Takes too long to find anything unless you want to look every day while wading through mostly relistings of the same things.
I can tolerate the poor site design, and people seem to outright lie about the condition on every site, but I hear stories all the time on the news of people getting robbed. Even in their own neighborhood. I've had good luck, so I'm going to quit while I'm ahead.
Well yea you do have to position snipers ahead of time but so long as they don't try to change the location of the meet... Unless something is too big to move, do it at the front of a busy shopping center parking lot or elsewhere in public.
Too bad it has turned into Crookslist.

but at least it's still a great place to find hookers. It's like ordering a pizza. They usually arrive in 30 minutes or less.
Yeah, and then they rob you.
Yeah, and then you kill them.
Ahh, the negative rep troll is back.

I'm sorry but I don't feel safe buying something from a stranger and trusting that they will be totally honest with you.
