Not a deal. Get a better quality card
This card belongs in the dump. It's been flat at this price for 2 years now (walmart).
No hardware support for any decoding algorithms and no equalizer makes this one a deadbeat.

why there is a need for a separate sound card? most mobos come with sound-card built in!
This is a half height card. It is only good if you a short chasis case.
