and this is a deal how? I was getting these for $50 after rebate well over a year ago, and those were NEW. $50 for a refurb is no deal at all.

The hardware is good. It's the drivers and crappy bundled software that's terrible.

the daniel_k fiasco? I've always thought creative was pretty good. though in all honesty the last card I bought was an SB Live 1 *shrug* on board audio is plenty good enough now a days
