So - Any opinions? good/bad? (about the card and or the deal) - I'm thinking of getting it but I have an ASUS P5N32-E SLI board and the onboard audio has been decent so far - looking to upgrade - are the modes on this card useful or annoying.. thoughts?

well, this is a very good sound card. If you want the best video game sound, this is the card to get. It's also good for music playback, with the X-Fi's signature mp3 sound restoration.
