I wouldnt recommend wasting your money on something this cheap to process your music. i don't know from personal experience from this device, just in general.

I was EXTREAMLY dubious when I first heard of this, but it actually got good reviews. Look it up on CNET

Those reviews are amazing. Hard to imagine you could put
back in music quality taken out by compression. I don't
use poor-quality MP3s, preferring to rip my own from CD
or download high-quality MP3 files from emusic (emusic.com)
so I don't know that this would be of use to me... but I
can still marvel at the technology.

Exactly how can you increase quality? It can't add information that isn't there.

#4 - um, yes you can. this is digital, not analog. you just add a few 0's and 1's here and there.

This probably works similar to an upconvert dvd player...just a guess.

I still have a hard time believing it increases the quaility of the music. As #6 said, garbage in, garbage out...

Cool device, but I'd rather rely on good quality music files than devices to simulate good quality.
