I have a 40gb model of this and I am very please. The sound quality eclipses that of the ipods.
This seems like an unbelievable deal. Am I missing something?
I had the 20G for a little over a year before I replaced it with a Zen Vision M. It was a very good no frills player with great sound quality and at $60 is an absolute steal. I actually ended up selling mine a few months back for $100.
I just did little research and it seems that one must use the Creative software to put somgs on the player much the same way as one has to use iTunes to put music on an iPod (my main objection to my seldom used iPod). I have an RCA Lyra with a SD card slot that can be loaded just like a regular drive - much easier.
Not true #4. I have used a number of products to put music on my Zen touch including Windows Media Player and Winamp.
Well #5, that's what the Creative web site said. I'm glad it's incorrect. Thanks, I just may get one. Anyone know if this the normal price for a refurbished unit?
Sorry, no FM w or w/o recording : "FM radio, voice and FM recording via optional wired remote control (available separately)". You can buy the same thing from Creative on e-bay and save on tax: $59.99 + $4.99 (shipping)
Thank u so much for this post.
It's so good to see actual postings about a product. Really get tired of all the bullshit baby crap that is pushed around.
I have this player for about 2 years. Very good sound quality (I noticed the new WMA10 192kbps is much better than 320kbs MP3).
I paid $250 for that and still like it a lot.
It is bulky and only music.
Screen display is not that clear.
The battery really last for a long time. The big battery the reason that the size of it is so big.
FM is a option not included.
This player will not work as a attached hard drive (not plug and play). You need to install software to transfer files.
You can get a Microsoft Zune for $150 (30G) and plays video.
This might not be such a deal if you like music video.
Looks like a great deal, but sold out...their refurb page has a "notify me" button next to this item, so I guess you'll know when it is available again

does this thing hae a standard usb port, or do you need a psecial adapter? any mp3 player that needs an adapter sucks
$12's question is important to me too. It's not under the "Specifications" menu on Creative's site.
anyone know if this deal is dead or not?
