#19, This whole pint is "Luck" with your build. I've built 20 times more PC's over the last year than you have and 75% were built using ballistix. I've personally RMA'd a few sets myself, but this was because they were pushed @ unreal Over-clocks with extreme voltage applied. As far as stability vs over-clock are concerned, these are the best, period. The only other that compare are the OCZ "Reapers", Guess what chips they use? Yep, Micron D9. This ram is NOT for everyone, You want to take advantage of the lower timings and ability to OC. If your board won't allow you to do this then get cheap 1.8/1.9v 5-15 A-Data, PQI or Kingston ram. It's as simple as that. the only beef I had with the newer batches vs the old is less OC'ing stability, and while they look and feel lighter/cheaper, the revised heatsinks on the new batches now make full contact on the chips as the older heavier version were sitting @ an angle.

Maybe its your experience, I have no problems with the RAM on my biostar and gigabyte p35 motherboard. Micron chip is not bad...

#21 hey, I have the older batches with thicker thermal tape that pushes the heatspreaders at an angle. I was previously able to push my ram to 1066 on a beta bios for about 20min before my system went down. They seem to run retardedly hot, should I rma for the new stuff? currently at 4's @1.85v memtested stable.

gassyjoe I am with you. I have at least 5 RMAs under my belt. I have the 800s with a gigabyte mother board. I upgraded my bios about 1.5 months ago and I have been running smooth on a 1 gig stick. I still need to rma the other stick.
