Got these last week when I was $15 after MIR. Still not bad for the price, but been hearing alot of complaints about crucial. I think they was over price before so never bought them. Now they have come down on price.

RMA'd ballstix. Got 'em back and in... pretty quick warranty service.

Had 4 stix alltogether. 2 went bad, 2 ok.

    Go figure

    Crucial has QC issues.

Crucial use to be good quality, all of a sudden everybody is having to RMA. I bought this RAM a little while back for $19 and I already have to send one stick back.

#3-7: I see how you managed to get up over 1000 posts.

With DDR2 prices like this, will DDR3 ever catch on?

I bought 2 sets from Newegg a month or so ago, and 1 stick from each was bad out of the box, and I had to return both. Then I bought a set a Fry's last week when it (not I, #1) was $19 after rebate and I've been running it since.

Yeah within the last 2 years, I've had 2 bad Crucial sets out of about 4 total. I used to swear by this stuff, never ever had a problem before that, but now screw them I will never ever touch another stick of theirs. The hassle and lost time is too much to waste on whatever crap they've sunk to selling.

#11, of course. There's the '1 rodeo cowboy born / min' law...
no doubt there are some high school kids with rich parents who want to pay 8 times more for 15% increase in performance.

Bought this set 6 months ago and now 1 stick is going bad, fails memtest86+. Bit on a OCZ deal, glad I did with all the Crucial problems lately.

I also bought 2 of these sets about 6 months ago and 3 out of 4 of my sticks have died. First of all, A) don't run 4gb across 4 sticks of ram and B) don't buy this product unless you like the RMA process.
