#19 I know how to set timings, the board works just fine with Corsair memory, and the only reason I am saying this memory doesn't work with P-35 chipsets is because I was told by Crucial's head tech rep that it is a known issue. Crucial themselves say that you should not use their Ballistix memory with a P-35 chipset as it will burn out the memory sooner or later.
Double Post
Voltage: 2.2V
Ouch!
'2gb is all you'll ever need'
orly?
I have the 2GB kit (just recently bought) running on the Abit IP35-E. I hope you are wrong gassyjoe. They work just fine for now but I guess I've been warned!
my heat spreaders on these are loose, should i rma?
What Board???? A Crucial rep that had a long day will tell you anything to get you off the phone. If it isn't posted on their site, then why would you think this? Because one brand works over another? I guess you don't build pc's that often. If you own a Cheap board (ECS, MSI, ASRock, Jetway, etc.) you will always have ram compatibility issues... or should I say bios issues. This has nothing to do with the P35 chipset, It's your bios and/or human error. The only issue with the first batches of these were the heatsinks not making full contact on the chips. RMA them and you'll have one of the best manufactured chips "D9" ever made for performance and stability. Nuff Sed.
