I assume that this has the same hardware requirements as Crysis, right? I'm just hoping that the sequel to FarCry (the one that takes place in Africa) uses the original engine so I don't have to buy a new machine too soon.
Crytek has nothing to do with the new FarCry. It is using a new engine called Dunia that Ubisoft made. It may be less intensive than Crysis, but I doubt it. FarCry 2 will have console releases though.
#1: from what I've read, this crysis warhead has an optimized version of the original Crysis engine, that actually runs faster on similar hardware. So, if your computer runs crysis acceptably, than it should run this game even a bit better.

#6 The original Crysis is not out on console yet, and I am assuming the same thing about this. You can check on Gamespot or IGN.
