      Some processors seem to be rated in cups and some are in gigahertz. Does anybody know how to convert these, or which is better?

      The one rated in cups is better. It will shread the other processor to pieces on a head-to-head competition. If it wanted to, it can also mince, chop or slice/dice at will.
