Yugster.com has the Cuisinart Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill Coffee Grinder for $35 - $5 with coupon code YUGSAVE5/25 + $5 shipping = $35 shipped. Features 18-position grind selector, 4-18 cups slide dial, removable 8 oz bean hopper, auto shut off electric timer, and one-touch power bar.
If you brew with a drip or (gasp) percolator, this grinder is fine but beware you espresso machine owners looking for a cheap burr grinder. This one is famously inconsistent and will grind out everything from powder to gravel-sized beans at the same time, which makes it useless for espresso. It's not great for french press either as there's enough powder in the grind that it will slip through the press screen.
I own this grinder and have to agree with everything coffeedragon said. I french press and end up not drinking the last sip because of the dust sediment. I would think there are better options out there for similar moneys.
#3 didn't Mom tell you the funky stuff is where all the vitamins are? Besides that, you need roughage in your diet too...
Don't be a wussie. The stuff at the bottom is one of the marked differences between Fufoo Starbucks style coffee and testosterone supercharged John Wayne style coffee.
Besides that #5, this one has buffeting problems... Maybe Dyson will come out with a big yellow plastic coffee grinder featuring reduced buffeting, a HEPA filter, cyclonic action, and a cord rewinder for $500...
Everyone knows Dyson is the Sharper Image for marketing household appliances...

Thanks... given your user name, I'll trust ya on this one!

#3 Actually you have to pay quite a bit more for a good one. This is one of the cheapest. That nasty you get what you pay for thing again..

I saw this at a local CompUSA for $20 back in spring. You will pay around $100 for a top of the line burr grinder.
