uhm... while this /might/ be okay for someone needing very basic protection on public wifi for web browsing and/or email reading, this in _NOT_ good for other things like remote company network access or torrents.
fly-by-night /free/ VPNs are bottom of the barrel as they collect user data on you to sell (this is how they make their money) and if push comes to shove by the authorities they will sell you down the river in a heartbeat! e hidemyip vpn
if you want a trustable VPN look for one that not only charges, but has been around for years, the long the better. to be exempt from US (local) law you need a foreign VPN.
*ALL* VPNs keep logs. the trustable ones regularly rotate their logs.
