this is a really good deal as a good ups deal is 10¢/va and this is well under that (ie 7¢/va).
for the last month costco has had this same model for $90 in store.
i have the 1500VA model and it works well. it's better than the "dumb" apc 1500va model that i bought 5 years ago (which was still running fine, but i rather replace it before the battery dies and replacing the battery alone isn't cost effective as for a little bit more i can buy a smarter ups) as it'll report all sorts of information, both on the LCD display and programmatically (using nut on linux).
