There is already a $20 coupon applied, any other coupon code would remove that one, so a $30 off $150 would only drop the price another $10... which is still helpful.

#5 - from your house wiring = yes. from the equipment's own wiring = no.

I'm in for one. I can't stand the random brownouts I'm getting recently.

Unlike the APCs and Tripp Lites, our CyberPower UPS doesn't allow us to disable the beeping via software (or anything else). A UPS that wakes us up during the night is crap.

I have this UPS as well and I love mine!

I love that it lets me see the power draw (in kW) that I'm pulling off the unit.

I bought mine about a year ago on a great deal at Fry's and I've never regretted it! It's saved me a few times during some power outages and I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good solid UPS.

#11, each time or permanently? Ours has a physical button you can press to stop the alarm each time the power goes out, but it comes on again the next time.

#13 How often does your power go out?

I have one of these. I think it's great. I bought an APC UPS as well. The APC's fans won't turn off, not even when you turn off the UPS. So I returned it and bought another Cyberpower 1500, but without the LCD.

The APC's fans should turn off after a while. It's cooling the heatsink after you turn it off.

#15, Florida Power & Light's equipment is really flaky, and we have 1- or 2-second outages a few times a month, usually in calm weather. Occasionally it will happen several times in a week.

Mitda - I control the beeper using the software, it has an option to turn it off completely all the time, however, I have heard stories that it does start beeping even when you have it turned off when the batteries are about to be drained completely but I have never had the chance to test it.
