I have something similar to this and it does not work. anyone knows if I am doing anything wrong?
"anyone knows if I am doing anything wrong?"
Yes, this antenna requires that you also have a wireless router and computer.
It works best covered in excrement. There is one method of accomplishing this. It involves sitting. On it. And spinning.
#1 if you read reviews of any of these products some users say they work, some say they don't. I have a directional one and it improves the signal from poor to (just) good but I would find it hard to recommend one at this price.
Make your own and you'll have better luck.
The antenna comes with your router is probably 2 or 3 dB.
By using a 7dB one you are increasing your router's ability to send stronger signal to your laptop/desktop. It also helps with the range of wireless internet reception if your house is really huge.
#6, better to buy APs (access point).
Forgot which website that send me by mistake 3 antennas like this. It'd been sitting there for over 2 years un-use. I did offer to send it back to them but I guess these crap aren't worth it for them to pay the postage to get it back.
