    I have something similar to this and it does not work. anyone knows if I am doing anything wrong?

    Yes, this antenna requires that you also have a wireless router and computer.

    It works best covered in excrement. There is one method of accomplishing this. It involves sitting. On it. And spinning.

    #1 if you read reviews of any of these products some users say they work, some say they don't. I have a directional one and it improves the signal from poor to (just) good but I would find it hard to recommend one at this price.

    The antenna comes with your router is probably 2 or 3 dB.
    By using a 7dB one you are increasing your router's ability to send stronger signal to your laptop/desktop. It also helps with the range of wireless internet reception if your house is really huge.

    #6, better to buy APs (access point).

    Forgot which website that send me by mistake 3 antennas like this. It'd been sitting there for over 2 years un-use. I did offer to send it back to them but I guess these crap aren't worth it for them to pay the postage to get it back.
