I have one. Doesn't do much better than the little antenna. Not even 1 bar better.

You can also attach these to NICs as well as to your actual router (excluding new Linkys routers)
I believe this comes with both type of antenna connectors.
Great product, works as advertised.
It does come with both connectors #4. I'm considering getting another one to put on my router as well to extend range.
#4, you may want to consider getting a new network card - I was having the same issue and it was resolved as soon as I picked up a replacement.
