I've been waiting months for a deal like this. The reviews on Amazon are really good. Looking over the specs, it only uses 19watts of power at full capacity, and more like 5-7 watts during normal partial capacity. The MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) is rated at ~89 years.
It has a "limited lifetime warranty", but I'm little unclear about how long the warranty actually is or what it covers.
Also, some of the reviews on Amazon said this model has a fan, while others said it didn't. Would have been nice to know, but I guess I'll find out soon enough.
One of the big things to look for in a gigabit switch is support for jumbo frames. According to reviews on Newegg, revisions B4 and above have jumbo frame support.
