Newegg has the D-Link DIR-655 Xtreme N Gigabit Router for $71 in cart - $11 off with coupon code EMCYTZT311 [Exp 2/22] = $60 with free shipping. It delivers up to 14x faster speeds and 6x farther range than 802.11g, with a 4-port 10/100/1000 Gigabit switch that connects Gigabit wired devices.
It's actually a great router. D-Link's got some funky FW and that's the basis of most complaints. Configured properly, this router easily's one of the best routers for the price
#1, it used to be the gold standard, then Dlink changed the hardware and the firmware and it became far less reliable. It seems to be a crapshoot now whether you'll get a good one.
I've tried out three different D-link routers in the past year and they all have the same problem. Wired connection is rock solid, but wireless connections get randomly disconnected every few minutes. Actually it still says that there is a connection on the device (Samsung laptop, Macbook pro, three iPhones, an Apple TV 2gen and an iPad all have the same symptoms) but no data passes through. It requires a disable/re-enable of the wireless in order to get data passing again. Numerous calls to D-Link's customer service result in the same broken-record message, restart the router. I just returned them all and got a Linksys e2000. Works perfectly out of the box with no disconnects.
Piss poor router according to their forums.

Mine keeps resetting daily at midnight. Anyone know how to fix that?
