Newegg still have it as a special combo discount with hi-gain antenna (ends 6/30) for 94.95. Is there something I missed?

Yup... only D-Link can improve on its DIR-655.... (see the new DIR-685) I have install 2x of these(655)... love em.

I only wish the USB port could be utilized with into a printer/thumbdrive
