Is there a competing product to this? This guy makes my computer shut off and I'm too lazy to try to figure out what is making it happen.

# 1 - just google "zoom + skype" you'll find the product zoom...pretty good..i have both...love both ...zoom is more expensive..
btw OOma is great too....
not bad for long distance call thru skype.
This unit works well. If you connect it to a base station that supports remote phones, then all of your phones can access Skype. Only drawback is this has to be connected to a computer, so it is not a stand-alone unit.
