Don't trust the quality of this product, I had the 320 and it was the worst dvd player I ever had. And the rebate is a joke. You will never get your money, just excuses. Stay Away!!!

The 520 is not a DVD player. I have had it for years and love it, although, I'm ready for a different more modern device like The Popcorn Hour. When I get a new device, I'll just move the 520 into another room as it still works great for most purposes.

The DSM-320 isn't a DVD player, either; it's a wireless media player just like the 520.

The DSM-520 functions well, but it's quirky. The D-Link media server software is almost unusable; fortunately there are free options like TVersity (which I highly recommend) that do a much better job. In addition, both of my 520s need to be restarted regularly - they become progressively less responsive as time goes on, which is most likely a programming flaw causing available memory to fill up.

All that having been said, for $100 it's a good deal.

The 320RD is a media player and DVD player. I have the 320RD but have never used the DVD player. I use the media player function to watch VOB files from my HD. Personally I was unable to get the TVersity server to work properly. The DLink software works OK but has limited functionality and will stick on some movies and won't work. It will also switch languages in mid movie and do some other weird stuff. I think if they would work on the software these could be a useful product.
