About the same price as Amazon (again, with rebate), but the reviews point out some fatal flaws. 3 stars out of 5.

Dude, those fatal flaw reviews are from 2+ years ago. I have had this for 2+ years and they've solved many if not all of those problems with firmware releases. Read newer reviews before deciding. I'm an early adopter and am willing to cope with those issues (although begrudgingly, sometimes)... decide if you are too.

FYI I am considering what device(s) to add to my other TV's. The next one will either be an HTPC, a modded XBOX or XBOX 360 or PS-something, a Popcorn Hour, or a 2nd DSM-520 or the newer version in the DLink MediaLounge series. The fact that I am considering a 2nd DSM-520 and even another device from DLink should speak volumes.

YMMV, make your own decisions, etc. Search on my prior posts and you'll find other more specific info on the DSM-520 if you are still interested.

#2, album art still doesn't even work on this piece of baconnaise. Just buy an Apple TV instead, it's much cooler. *smirk*

Actually, the fact that it's not an automatic purchase of a second DSM-520 that speaks volumes.

Best media player is by far the XBOX Media Center:

Even m0f0 knows the crappy Apple TV can't hold a candle to it.
