One of these days they ought to put some thought into integrating a GB of flash memory on them to serve as a USB flash drive that has all the drivers and utilities on it, or even better a mSD slot and card included.
dave-c I was surprised that the linksys unit I bought had a small partition with the drivers on it. It was the Valet I think... white unit that was only $10. Unfortunately it didn't provide any extra storage space.
yeah dave, wondered that too. USB can be ran in series easily. Should see some flash memory used more often, or at least the slots. Assuming it's more troubleshooting from company's view. Drivers also get outdated, new OS come around. That said, if they put "self healing" feature on keeping the flash mem updated (like the belkin router later on feed) it'd be fool-proof. And the industry doesn't like fool-proof. So..
Got 3, always needing these things...
Hope they work.
these should work ok within a couple of rooms in an apt. or house, depending upon the structure type.
for best reception you should get a network card that has an external antenna like the tp-link.
I own one of these and it works good but its bulky.
