Target.com has the D-Link Wireless N Router DIR-615 on sale for $40 - 10% code EXPIRED = $36 with free shipping. It supports a draft 802.11n standard, which may become obsolete if it isn't compatible with the eventual approved standard. A flash upgrade might alleviate that problem. [BizRate]

    The "standard" gets pushed back every few months, and it's now supposed to come out no earlier than mid-2009. If you want 802.11n this decade, buy pre- or draft- hardware and screw the IEEE. Just make sure your cards are compatible with your WAP, and don't expect full speed unless you replace all your a/b/g hardware or run it on a separate network.

    Look back in the forms on this it, looks like another price drop Officee Mac has been dumping them at $60 for some time. If this was a package like the Newygg deal for Laptop adapter but had the internal PCI that would be sweet. You'd be smart to flash the firmware and get the latest drivers from the wed-site. The word is they work but aren't much faster but little better at going through walls.

    DLink = crap

    I have many routers. Among then are four different models of DLink wireless routers. All of them are all unplugged gathering dust.

    Don't go there!
