CircuitCity.com has the D-Link Wireless N Router DIR-615 on sale for $50 with free shipping. It supports a draft 802.11n standard, which may become obsolete if it isn't compatible with the eventual approved standard. A flash upgrade might alleviate that problem. [BizRate]
so is this thing even usable?
Yes, there is a very small risk that the router is not upgradeable once the 802.11n standard becomes ratified, but this is probably not going to be the case. In any event the router is stil backwards compatible with 802.11g which is the current standard.
