CircuitCity.com has the D-Link Wireless N Router DIR-615 on sale for $50 with free shipping. Free $10 E-Gift Card with purchase. It supports a draft 802.11n standard, which may become obsolete if it isn't compatible with the eventual approved standard. A flash upgrade might alleviate that problem. [BizRate]
#1 if your experience sucked, something (or somebody) else could have been the culprit. I have a simiar D-link model of the router, and it performs according to specs (I have to use .g due to mixed mode), not a single drop out in months.
Come on #1. You can do better than that. Drop outs, reboots, downloads from torrents being slowed down. What...what...Throw us a bone...
I've used at least 5 of the major brands. IMHO all of them have had hiccups, or crappy firmware, doa, pain in the you know what stuff that takes up your time and sometimes money if out of warrenty. I use to be a linksys fan, but they all seem to have issues in one way or another. Don't believe me? Just google your favorite router + complaints.
from my experience dlink sucks, go with linksys or netgear
belkins arn't that great either.
I have this and it works fine...
