Is this thing not put out of its misery yet?

This isn't a deal by any stretch of the imagination. I own the 8gb and love it. Does everything I need to an it's not an Ipod. Can't go wrong.

It's better than an Ipod, just too bad they don't have like 32GB ones.

Ipod's "wheel" is better than the navigation "slider" on these, but other than that, this thing is better. I did get to play with a 8gig Ipod touch screen today, and I have to say, that was sweet. But so is the price!!

Ya I bought 2, have nothing but positive things to say about this player. The video part can be a bit of a headache but otherwise this is a great player, also does ogg format. The screen is also very nice.

i got the 8GB version. all is awesome. no problem with videos. using the latest firmware update. video software mencoder. my first mp3 video player and it is quite awesome. only complaint is the slider control, but getting use to it now so not as bad as it was initially. also it could be super if it was $99 for the 8GB. this 4GB should be $50 to make it a super deal.
