I want a deal on the 2048x1152-obliterating Dell U2711.
Any opinions on this screen? I kinda want a new one and this one has the right price.

This is a very nice screen, but it is glossy. I bought a $25 frosted overlay that attaches directly to the screen and can be easily removed at any time. Installation was much easier than I imagined. Rad Tech. online sells the anti-glare kits for MAC but they can be trimmed to fit nearly any screen up to 24" I believe. It works great for this screen and would work equally well for any laptop with a glossy screen. I like the features of the screen a lot and the resolution is impressive. I have yet to test the 1080p video but plan on doing so very soon. I expect to connect to my laptop via a HDMI-to-DVI cable and connecting a PS3 via HDMI port. Just as soon as the cables arrive I will know how it all works. Haven't used the USB or camera but I do like the menu system. For the price, it's quite a bargain if you don't mind the glossy screen or paying a bit more to go with the anti-glare add-on.
