Ends 1/30. Dell Business has the Dell 24" UltraSharp U2410 Widescreen LCD Monitor for $399 with free shipping. Includes 3-Year Advanced Replacement Warranty. Uses an H-IPS panel for better color reproduction and viewing angles.
Check the specs before you decide. 2410 specs appear to be much better, and 2412 dropped a few features, like HDMI port, I believe. 2410 uses the H-IPS, while the 2412 uses the slightly inferior E-IPS, but it's Energy Star compliant. 2410 is a wattage hog, in comparison, but it might be worth the difference, depending on your needs.
"Power Consumption:
75 W (normal operation)"
There's something wrong with the design or construction that it STILL uses 75 Watts in 2013.
This is CFL bac klit which explains the higher power consumption.
Very decent Dell 2412m is just $300, uses eIPS but very effectively, LED illumination. I was going to buy the 2410 until I saw the 2412, saved $100.
