      If you don't need all the fancy inputs a ASUS 24 LED would be good enough.

      This is OK but not stellar, they have gone for less at Dell. Plus, you have to pay sales tax.

      Your comment doesn't make sense because this model is only a few months old.

      This is a step up from the previous Ultrasharp models which have been using MVA/PVA panels. Great price for a premium 24" IPS. Should be much better on input lag than the other, older Ultrasharp models.

      #3 this is in a completely different class from the monitor you're referring to... it's not a matter of inputs it's a matter of all around quality specifically color representation and image quality. It all comes down to the panel... as someone mentioned this is a premium IPS panel.
