Ends 10/15. Dell Business has the Dell 24" UltraSharp U2410 Widescreen LCD Monitor for $499 with free shipping. Uses an H-IPS panel for better color reproduction and viewing angles.
Very nice monitors if you need the color accuracy. BUT I picked up a 30" refurb from Dell (it came with a full warranty and works perfectly) for $799 about a year and a half ago. I know that doesn't help now, but keeping this in perspective, I am not sure how much of a deal this is. Now if I could get a refurb of this 24" for about $250 or so...
Despite the newer revisions, some of the panels still have the bad green-to-pink tinting issues. Finally got a decent one that I could calibrate out on the 3rd swap.
#3, sad to hear this is still an issue. For all you other bargain dogs, this is a reason to spend a little more to get from Dell than saving $50 or so from an eBay reseller (I assume if you're dropping this kind of dough on a monitor you're going to calibrate it and a color accuracy is important to you.)
Yes,it's a little pricey but it really is a magnificent monitor overall. By spending the extra jing you get a really stout and infinitely adjustable base as well as a state-of-the art display. And at 1920x1200 (as opposed to 1920x1080) it has just enough more vertical res to make web surfing that more enjoyable.

Not bad but get a U2311h instead. 1" smaller but a better and cheaper monitor overall. See the reviews at TFT Central and other sites.
