really good LCD monitor
just pulled the trigger on this - trying to not think about the fact that i just spent $500 on a monitor

Panel: Samsung S-PVA (confirmed by Dell, waiting for part number) Qisda OEM
2xDVI-D (HDCP), DisplayPort, HDMI, HD15, Composite, S-Video, Component;
6 ms (G2G);
4 port hub (USB2);
3000:1 Contrast Ratio, 400 cd/m ²(typ) Luminance output, 110% color gamut, PIP, card reader. Suffers from a relatively high amount of input lag. Monitor also has quality issues, as most text is blurry, and newer models of this monitor frequently lock up and require a reset to work again.

If you are gamer, this is a great monitor, but if you are graphic intense professionals, go get S - IPS panel LCDs
Nice to have duals....to expensive still though compared to the competition with similar specs.
Actually this is quite good for photo work. There are "professional" monitors available, but at a few times the price. Gamers can get a TN panel for much less.

Damn. I had to go and say I'd buy this as soon at it dropped below $500, and then when it does, I go super-broke. Ooookay, so I'll buy it for under $500 after the new year.

i have the 2407 and its amazing
dam wish it was this price a week ago before I bought the samsung. Although the samsung has built in tv tuner. I might have gotten this instead.
