#14, I'll live with it. I have a feeling if I returned it I'd just get another one that doesn't match up. Honestly, I prefer the colors on the new one; the old one seems too blue really. But the old one is definitely sharper. I'll play with the color adjustments tomorrow to see if I can get them to match.

#23 I'm interested to see what your turn out is for that. I keep seeing these Dell's pop up but don't know what potential they hold.

I believe Sony or Samsung supplies Dell with the LCD screens.. it varies but usually good quality.

There are cheaper 22" monitors out there, but not by much. If you're looking at cost, this is a decent way to go. If you want the quality, go for the ultrasharp.

the only reason why you'd go with this instead of other brands is the stand. most cheapo brands have crappy stands, but the dell ones usually have tilt, height and swivel

Apparently you know nothing about this monitor's stand, #27. No height or swivel. Only on ultrasharp.

22 inch seems to be large enough for most uses, IMHO...

May I suggest you stick it out for a cpl more days and wait to see the black Friday ad's before considering one of these "budget" type of monitors. I know I am. I'm actually looking for a higher end LG Sammy or Ultrasharp 22 for under the $200 mark.

Seems like getting this with a computer would be a much better combo deal.

Even the Ultrasharps are TN panels. Shouldn't they at least be IPS or VA's?

Bound to find a better deal this coming friday if you want to stand in line. However, there are alot of online BF deals that might produce a cheaper price for the same size monitor.

good price for 22" but the image quality IMHO is HORRIBLE.

I used the 24" version and I assume this is the same panel.

      bad color, blurry,
I've tried acer, soyo brand budget lcds at this price range and they are noticablly better picture quality.

but if u just need a monitor this is a good deal. just don't compare it to other monitors you will be disapponted.

      I returned mines.

I run two of these at home side by side. I like them. I primarily play WoW using them and the picture is fine. Granted they are only 6 bit, but for the price, you cant beat it! I payed $299 a pop a little over a year ago.
