While the specs list a viewing angle of 160° both horizontal and vertical, changes in the vertical viewing angle drastically change the brightness and color. If you rotate the monitor 90°, your left and right eyes get different pictures (left eye will see the right side of the screen a little dimmer, the opposite for the right) and this is pretty annoying at first until you get used to it or give up and rotate it back to normal.
