What's the difference between this and a normal LCD? Brighter?

How is this a deal? It's not a deal just because you post it here, Ben. Hasn't it been $209 for like 6 weeks now?

Better color accuracy and less light bleed.

I've been waiting for this to go on sale, but this isn't a real sale. Needs another 10% coupon like they had every three weeks all summer - now they've stopped. Why?!

Probably not much number #1. Here's an explanation:
      http://www.bigpicturebigsound.com/SamsunsLED_TVs_and_LCD_HDTVs.shtml
The focus of this is the Sammy, but for $209 I think it applies here too.

First generation LCD screen use fluorescent technology for backlighting. This generation uses high output, color corrected LEDs. Not only the power consumption is less, there's much less heat, no fluorescent tubes or HV power supplies to go bad and the LEDs last a heck of alot longer. Fluorescent light also gets weaker over time.

What did Ben do to my link? "Samsung" followed by underscore then 's' was replaced by "Samsuns". I'll try again:
      http://www.bigpicturebigsound.com/SamsunsLED_TVs_and_LCD_HDTVs.shtml
If that doesn't work, go to that site and search for Samsung LED. It won't be on the top of the results, but I found it again eventually.
