but I got to tell you
over the last 5 years I've bought 5 refurb Dells and have had great luck
they come with a "as new" warranty
bought my brother a inspiration 520 5 years ago still running strong
4 years ago bought me a XPS 603i still going , I did upgrade the video card a couple times , using a evga 560ti ds superclocked has a quad-core q9550 and it plays everything on ultra settings still
4 years ago bought my mom a XPS 420 still running
2 years ago also bought two 1545 laptops for myself and my dad

I guess I am the "unlucky" one since I bought a xps 13 laptop few years from the dell outlet. It lasted for a year and had a motherboard issue that I had to bury it in my graveyard.
