Yeah, but Win8 is the biggest bag of s&*t I have seen in a long time.
I am using it right now.
Recommend reformatting and installing another OS, which would handily get rid of the bloatware too.

Glad I picked this up. About $322 after tax. Was hoping for similar stats for about $275 but that was probably unrealistic.

I never seem to be able get deals like this. I guess I am not as dedicated as some bargains hunters who stay up whole night hunting for best deals!

You want to ease the pain of Microsoft screwing with the desktop in Windows 8? Install this and, viola, the old start button and desktop bootup is back just like in Windows 7:

      http://www.startisback.com/#faq-tab

It doesn't add a new start button rather unblocks the Windows 8 base underlying code to allow it to be used.

I enjoying playing around with the new Fisher Price (AKA m*etro) screen saver as I call it but I'm glad that I could get Windows 8 desktop back to normal. There is hope for this OS...

Google Classic Start. It is free and works nicely for Windows 8

Google Windows 7, it works nicely to get rid of issues on Windows 8.

#10, I've tried that one. Classic Menu adds a menu system on top of Windows. StartIsBack unhides the native Windows 8 start button and menuing which I think is much better way of doing it. It's also 100% accurate because it's the real thing...

#11, stop trying to kill the fun for all the computer geeks like myself that likes new stuff. You might hurt our feelings. The last guy you did that to (I won't mention his name but he fancies himself as an improved version of Casper the Ghost) whined for a couple of weeks, pouted for a few days and waited for someone like me to say boo to him just so he could announce that his apple cart tipped over and he was picking up his crayons and going home... (but I bet he just turned into lurker now Smile

Reminded be of George on Seinfeld about the ocean calling to tell him they were running out of shrimp...

Funny thing about this "deal" is that Benny-boy didn't have it posted up here until it was well after expired/non-existent. I was up early this morning secifically looking here for cheap laptop deals and this one was NOT listed. Checked later and it magically appeared as an "expired" item. *eye roll*
