40GB, XP Home, DVD/CDRW. Can't you tell? I say about 3 years, which is what the usual Corporate lease is.
For maybe 75 bucks more, you can get new fully warranted ones with far better specs.

      WTF,

what a pile of s*it. I think you could find them on Ebay for like $75 Dls. For about the Same Price you could get yourself an Outlet 15 inch Notebook and 320GB that will run Vista and Windows 7.

      Over-and-Out,

Why don't you post that link, #2? We'd all be interested to see that deal. And #1, you can still get modems on new machines if you order that option. The D620 is/was a solid performer. Saying that, this deal could be a little better.

Just a heads up, there have been some issues with the battery on this model. We have a bunch a work with bad ones. The battery lasted less than a year, so unless they are coming with new batteries, YMMV.

Also some of the earlier models had a really strange screen, it actually had vertical lines molded into the screen I guess to cut down on glare, but the end result was the worst looking screen I have ever seen. We only have one of two of these out of a couple dozen.

Otherwise they are a solid machine, as long as it has neither of the above issues.

#4, there is something out there... the only clue I give you is 'Harry'. I won't say what it is, since you talk like a, well, Mofo. Figure it out yourself.

That's what I thought, canadian baconKCMO. You're talking out your a$$ about products you have no experience with. You're probably a member of the Geek Squad thinking you know anything about technology. Or maybe a pimply faced gamer in mom's basement? Maybe I'll just ask my mom for that link. She's here trying to get last night's stains out of her clothes.

I've had one of these for a couple of years. It's fine. I do agree about the battery. Mine didn't last long at all. I think with a refurb, you're likely getting a new one with it. Other than that, it's solid. Oh BTW, this was my work computer and it ran 24/7 in my docking station for 2 years. It's being replaced, but it's still running just fine. This is a business-class laptop. Not a bleeding edge, gaming machine. It gets the job done.
