Seriously, if there was a way to configure a Latitude, Vostro, or lenovo Thinkpad with a high-res screen and a better graphics chip, I'd consider it. But I haven't seen any options like that in quite awhile. My two-year old Core2Duo laptop with 15" 1680x1050 screen and nVidia graphics is better than anything I've seen in about a year, and it only cost me about $700 at the time.
